The College of Arts and Sciences congratulates its esteemed alumnus, Pulitzer Prize-winning scientist Douglas Hofstadter, for being named one of the newest members of the American Philosophical Society. Hofstadter is the author of the classic, Gödel, Escher, Bach: An Eternal Golden Braid.
