The modern opera, Nixon in China, which dramatizes Nixon’s historic meet-up with Mao in 1972, will be performed at the Hult Center in Eugene next spring, in commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Nixon’s visit. A series of on-campus events will also examine the U.S. relationship with China — then and now.  Read the Cascade story.
