Prominent psychologist lectures on whole body relaxation

When you meditate, good things happen in your brain—reduced tobacco cravings, for example. Michael Posner, professor emeritus of psychology and winner of the 2008 National Medal of Science (pictured, receiving the award from the president), studies the genetic and experiential factors in the development of brain networks that underlie attention and self-regulation.
He has identified benefits from integrative body-mind training (IBMT), a technique that involves whole body relaxation. In this video, he lectures on the neuroscience of IBMT.
